Publication profiles batch-export sessions to multiple destinations, formats, and variations.
Reflective and shiny metal parts are handled through enclosed capture, controlled lighting, and targeted retouching. The enclosed chamber blocks ambient reflections. Advanced high-contrast lighting combines high-quality diffusers with LEDs on a black solder mask, bringing out contrast on metallic and transparent surfaces. Chrome remains challenging: AI Retoucher smooths harsh mirror-like reflections while preserving the real product's shine, and accessories like the Eyewear Diffusor Cone for the Alphashot Pro G2 further reduce reflections at capture.
Yes. Orbitvu produces GS1-compliant images through template configuration. In the template, you select the required GS1 settings: 1:1 aspect ratio, pure white background, resolution tier (web 900×900 to 2400×2400 px; print 2401 to 4800 px at 300 ppi), 24+ frames per rotation, and file names based on GTIN. One template then enforces these settings at scale. Devices with a camera angle scale set the required viewing angle precisely and consistently.
Throughput depends on the workflow. With a simple template and a skilled operator, one station handles 200+ parts per shift. A full cycle including measurement, weighing, and OCR takes 3 to 5 minutes per part. In Alphashot XL G2, throughput reaches up to 250 parts per day when the process is very simple. We provide an accurate estimate based on your specific part mix and workflow.
Orbitvu works with SAP, Oracle, and other ERP systems. Integration runs through cloud storage (S3, Azure Blob, Google Storage), custom publishing scripts, and API access, which reach virtually any downstream system. Measurement data and AI OCR results are written into file metadata that ERP and PIM systems can read. For specific requirements, we build a custom integration with you.
